We provide a 3M single bulb seal that is placed around the perimeter on the bed rails and bulkhead to prevent water / dust from coming in. Our rear hatch also has a bulb seal that seats on the top of the tailgate in the closed position. In addition, we provide 2 pieces of butyl tape that can be placed at the bulkhead rail where there is a step down from the side plastic bed rail to the bulkhead to help prevent water / dust intrusion.
It is important to note that no truck bed is completely sealed, and some water intrusion may be possible although greatly reduced with the bulb seal. Likely water intrusion is often found around the tailgate perimeter.
The Expedition Cap Jeep Gladiator Application does not have a third brake light, due to the Gladiator already having a third brake light on the tailgate.
There will be an Overland Vehicle Systems cross bar option available. The cross bars will mount to the included cap rails (the rails that go parallel with the frame rails). The bars will have a dynamic weight rating of 325lbs and a static weight rating of 750lbs and have a rise of approximately 2” above the cap.
When using the optional Overland Vehicle Systems cross bars, the dynamic weight limit is 325lbs with a static weight limit is 750lbs.
The included rails were designed around the Overland Vehicle Systems optional cross bars. The included roof rails do have a 19mm slot which will allow for various systems. We will be testing various aftermarket crossbar systems and will eventually update the instructions on compatible systems.
The current design is a fixed rear window with no drop down / pass through accessibility.
Each Expedition Truck Cap will come with keyed-alike locks.
The Expedition Truck Cap cannot be locked or opened from the inside of the bed.
The Expedition Truck Cap vent is a fixed vent located above the glass on the panel located closest to the cab. The vent allows for air ventilation as well as circulation to reduce condensation inside the topper. It also allows air to escape during closing of all of the panels.
The only drilling involved in the Expedition is the hole you drill for the wiring portion of the Tacoma installation.
Where is the brake light on the Expedition Truck Cap for the Jeep Gladiator?
The brake lights have been removed from the Jeep Gladiator model due to the Jeep Gladiator already having a 3rd brake light.

Received mine last week for my 2024 ZR2 Silverado Bison. Assembly was easy enough. Make sure to look at install diagrams very closely to make sure that you've got the nut, bolt and washer assemblies in the correct arrangement and orientation. I made a mistake in leaving out a washer and backing off the nylock nuts was near impossible and I was forced to go purchase additional stainless hardware that matched. Aside from my own mistake everything was very smooth from build to installation. Follow the installation instructions exactly and you will be fine. This is is not a 1 or 2 person job so make sure to have 4 because the weight is unmanageable otherwise and you will damage yourself or your vehicle. So far, very impressed. Already took it on its first trip and it has done everything it says it will. I also put it through a pretty thorough wash upon return and found no leaks which means the gaskets and o-rings are doing their job. Thank you to OVS for the timely shipping and great experience so far. If there was a pace to upload an image I would!

Got a phone call yesterday informing me my package was about to be delivered. I ask the driver to put the pallet in a specific place, and he did so, and sent pictures of the packages. The thought that went into the packaging was great! Very easy to unpack do to size of packages. I thought it might be difficult. But each package was individually strapped to the next package and the pallet. Each item was well wrapped inside the box and well protected from shipping damage. The construction of my Expedition truck cap is phenomenal! and fit like a glove. Very tough, the design had tremendous forethought. The how to build and install instructions where right on. built and completed installation including electrical in under 6 hours. Fun project! Now we need some bad weather to test her out. Thank you so much, for a great product!

Just received mine, it's definitely what I was looking for at the price point. Assembly wasn't bad at all and all the parts seem to be very robust. I'd take this over a traditional fiberglass type camper shell every time.

Installation was easy, looks great! only had it on a couple days so I can't talk about longevity yet but the only downside I can see so far is with the latches. There is a little rubber nub that pops off very easily where the latch contacts the inside of the topper, I recommend keeping an eye on that.
