We provide a 3M single bulb seal that is placed around the perimeter on the bed rails and bulkhead to prevent water / dust from coming in. Our rear hatch also has a bulb seal that seats on the top of the tailgate in the closed position. In addition, we provide 2 pieces of butyl tape that can be placed at the bulkhead rail where there is a step down from the side plastic bed rail to the bulkhead to help prevent water / dust intrusion.
It is important to note that no truck bed is completely sealed, and some water intrusion may be possible although greatly reduced with the bulb seal. Likely water intrusion is often found around the tailgate perimeter.
The Expedition Cap Jeep Gladiator Application does not have a third brake light, due to the Gladiator already having a third brake light on the tailgate.
There will be an Overland Vehicle Systems cross bar option available. The cross bars will mount to the included cap rails (the rails that go parallel with the frame rails). The bars will have a dynamic weight rating of 325lbs and a static weight rating of 750lbs and have a rise of approximately 2” above the cap.
When using the optional Overland Vehicle Systems cross bars, the dynamic weight limit is 325lbs with a static weight limit is 750lbs.
The included rails were designed around the Overland Vehicle Systems optional cross bars. The included roof rails do have a 19mm slot which will allow for various systems. We will be testing various aftermarket crossbar systems and will eventually update the instructions on compatible systems.
The current design is a fixed rear window with no drop down / pass through accessibility.
Each Expedition Truck Cap will come with keyed-alike locks.
The Expedition Truck Cap cannot be locked or opened from the inside of the bed.
The Expedition Truck Cap vent is a fixed vent located above the glass on the panel located closest to the cab. The vent allows for air ventilation as well as circulation to reduce condensation inside the topper. It also allows air to escape during closing of all of the panels.
The only drilling involved in the Expedition is the hole you drill for the wiring portion of the Tacoma installation.
Where is the brake light on the Expedition Truck Cap for the Jeep Gladiator?
The brake lights have been removed from the Jeep Gladiator model due to the Jeep Gladiator already having a 3rd brake light.

I just had the opportunity to install my Expedition Truck Cap on my 2023 Gladiator and am very happy with the process and results. I received three packages and they were well boxed and delivered early. I unpacked everything and all the parts were present and the quality was great. I didn’t have any help handy so this was a solo install and while the individual parts are heavy, they are manageable. I used some of the foam packing to protect my truck roof and rear window. You need to change the process a bit and clean and install the weather stripping first. Start with the cab section and rest it against the foam padding. Then I added the right side section. I loosely attached the two and moved onto the left side. Once these three were all loosely connected, I added the rear section. All four sides were connected and I snugged up the nuts and bolts but not all the way. I then put the roof on and the top rails. This is the only area where I needed a second set of hands. The front and rear 14 Allen bolts must be installed with hands on top and below the cap so my wife came to the rescue. Fully tighten all the bolts on the top and then go around inside and tighten all the previous ones for the sides. Lastly use the 6 clamps to tighten it to the truck and your done. It took me about 5 hours and was not too bad. I really love the quality and look!

I am more than pleased with the supreme quality of this product. I didn't expect the sturdiness of this cap. I am a 58 year old woman and I was easily able to put together this cap on my own. I didn't expect enlist the help of my two sons to place on my truck but then was able to complete the install clamping down and latch attachments on my own. I am eagerly anticipating the accessories such as Molle panels and pouches that are said to be in the R&D stage for this cap! It's an unbelievable price for an outstanding product.

Added a cap to my 2023 1500 ZR2 and love it. Was hesitant at first but when I saw it done it’s awesome. Tons of compliments. Added interior lights and Rigid light bars all the way around the top of the cap. Waiting on crossbars.
