Nomadic 2 Rooftop Tent
Amazing quality and with solid construction. You can move around in the tent confidently. Stood up to a desert wind storm with no problems. A lot more spacious than expected. Can't beat this deal.
Excellent Quality
In preparation for a upcoming camping trip I test fitted my new Overland Vehicle Systems Nomadic 2 Roof Top Tent over the weekend. I was able to get it onto my roof with just my wife and I, although it was a bit of a challenge as the tent does come close to meeting the the dynamic load requirements of the rack at 150 lbs. (Dynamic Load rating: 165 lbs) The set up takes a long time as the tent is held to the rack with a total of eight fasteners. At first I had questions about the tents quality since the packaging did say "made in chain" however I was pleasantly surprised. The built in memory foam mattress is super comfortable and overall the quality of the materials is nice. While driving I noticed little impact on range. In fact I decided to not drive in my usual ass hole driving style and averaged far better range than normal. I was also surprised by the low level of wind noise. During the test drive my kid was able to fall asleep in the back seat without issue. Overall very happy with this and would recommend to my fellow Model Y Owners.

This tent is well made and strong. My wife and I used it for the first time on the beach, it was extremely windy night and the tent held up extremely well.
